three short years ago

... where does the time go? It was only Three years ago that I got married ... It feels like one year ago! I'm going to go back to the first time that Kyle and I met and tell you our Story:)

    I just moved home from L.A. and every weekend we had these B.B.Q's at Lane and Erins house! It's when they lived over on the one bedroom side ... at this point I think Lanes dad lived over on the other side ...  because I know Lane had taken that wall down to make a bedroom. Any way we were all laying around watching David Blane when Andrew and Kyle showed up ... I remembered Kyle from high school, we had a class together and I always thought he was really cute ( along with every other guy at that school ) I was a sad case in high school! Any how dinner was good that night ... Noelle and Erin made some really yummy corn. We got drunk like always and Kyle and I were doing weird dance moves and a lot of making out! I told Andrew he should go get in bed with Noelle and so he did! She was so Pissed off that she came storming out of the house wearing this pink sweats outfit with the pants tucked into her socks!!! hahahaha it was soooo funny! Poor Andrew! That night Kyle and snuggled on the make shift couch ! So the next morning was weird when we walked to our cars he got my number but he never called me. I would see him driving all over town in his little red honda. I would tell Noelle " I saw that guy I hooked up with again " . I had these friends in town Brian and Dustin and we had a party at my mom and dads while they were out of town, So I called Kyle to invite him and he came! Things got weird that night because I was wasted and smoked pot with a group of boys and was throwing up all night and it was ugly! Anyway Kyle and I went on our first date the next night ... R&D's! It was kind of weird but we had fun. 

    Kyle was like no one I had dated in the past. He was really snugly and affectionate. He seemed to be a  Mama's boy and I like that. Anyway I didn't want anything to serious but he made me choose, ALL or nothing and I wasn't ready to not have him in my life. So he asked my to be his girlfriend rite around Halloween time. Anyway three years of marriage latter ... it's been good and it's been hard! But in the end it's all worth it! I love my life and I love my family!

Also ... I was so crazy back then! I am so thankful that I grew up and don't live that life any more!! I was out of control! it was fun though!

SOOOO I had that birthday for Parker and after reading Michelle's post about her winning for Livis costume, I went and checked it out! and it was really cool to see Olivia and Denny up on that site, considering I visit it on a regular basis since planning this party. There are just so many good ideas on that site! Any how I e-mailed my pictures and now I too am in a contest! I know I wont win because Tyler's Party blows mine out of the water and she has like 139 votes ... she had a Yo Gabba party and it was really cute. At any rate go vote for ours:) If you want to that is.

PARTY PARTY!!!!

 I had so much fun getting ready for it and making all the decorations but when it comes down to it ... I don't do well with the hostess title. I have high anxiety and I felt like I was going to faint or over heat all day long! My heart ... oh dear it was hard. But I think it turned out pretty well.

All in all it was a good day! Taryn has a lot more pictures then I do. I lost my camera for a while so she can fill in the blanks like the cake and what not.

Two years go ...

... I can remember it like it was just yesterday. My whole world became blurry and was spun upside down, my heart skipped at a new beat and my purpose in life was very clear. It was 11:20 January 22, 2007 ( my due date ) when Parker arrived. Nine whole months went by and I could only imagine what this baby might look like. I was scared that I was going to have a monster baby because of my birth weight being a whopping 10 lb. 9 oz. I have to admit when I looked at him he looked like he might be just that big! His head was VERY coned and his skin was red ... thick black hair, I had never seen anything more beautiful in my whole life! I would ask Taryn " what if I don't think he's cute" and she would always reply " you will think your baby is cute no matter what" and that is nothing but true. Two years later and my love grows deeper and deeper every single day. I always find myself thinking or saying to people that I really think this is my favorite part of life. I hated growing up ... loved being wild and free, but this is my favorite. I love feeling like I can do it all. I love that I wake up have coffee get Parker and I ready for the day, work all day come home cook clean and drift to sleeping know that my day was productive. And that I do have a lot of days off in my week to just snuggle and have so much fun. I am blessed and thank God everyday for my beautiful TWO year old little boy and my very helpful and loving husband. 

On another note I must say that Parker has been really excited about his birthday. He sings " happy to Parker " every day for pretty much this whole year and every time he see's me crafting brobee stuff he knows it's for his birthday. I can't wait for the weekend! I think all of my hard work will pay off when I see him having fun at his brobee birthday party! I will post pictures later of our birthday breakfast my mom made. And our dinner and cake we will have tonight.

I got a really exciting and anticipated phone call the other morning. One that I keep my phone by my bed turned to loud every night just so I don't miss it. Tara (my brothers soon to be wife) water broke! She was due on January 12, 2009 and went into labor on the 13th. Tara and Mitch had a very detailed plan of a natural child birth so they stayed home for a lot of the labor. I got off work at 4:30 and headed to the hospital where they had just settled in. I thought for sure Tara would be well on her way at this point, and she didn't want to be checked to much. So eventually she did get checked and was only at a One so they went for a walk and her contractions were one on top of the next and strong ... long story short she blasted to a seven and stayed there for like five hours. So me being an idiot decided to go home because it was 1:15 and I felt like I needed to get home and get some rest before Parker woke up. After I left she pretty much started pushing ... I was really sad to miss that. Any way He was born January 14th at 2:40 and was a little guy just 7 lb. 12 oz. And he is Just so perfect!! I can't believe that my big brother has a baby! It's so amazing! They were so amazing together during the birth! He was by her side the whole time coaching her through, did I mention that Tara is a crazy strong women?.
